Will it Surprise You?

A dark rant spawned in the heat of the moment.

Will it surprise you?
That I dream of child corpses
And people screaming in my hands?
That I see hills of bones
And rivers of scarlet oozing in between?

Will it surprise you?
That I am the one who draws forth
The screams and shrieks of agony,
That I watch the pleading tears fall,
And I laugh and kiss them tenderly as I carve them up anew.

Will it surprise you?
That I am not the s**t, the desperate
Thirsting w***e you make me out to be?
That I am neither what you accuse,
Nor ever what you expected me to be.


Will it surprise you?
When you finally see
Your real daughter,
For what she is?
