Before You

 

 

I never knew the sun would shine in the midst of a thunderstorm
 ~ or that the moons craters would make such a cozy place to lay ~

I never knew that roses could be brought to life again and again with just a word
 ~ or that stars danced with the night sky for all who believed ~

I never knew the true wonders of amazement
 ~ or that magic actually existed ~

I never knew such awesome dreams
before I knew you.

Thank you. I wrote this poem years ago to show my appreciation to this site. I would read so many poems that just did it for me that I had to write something about it. My life was hell back then and this site help me pull through. Thank you for your time and review.

Well I was using this site during my marriage. I was a beating woman. He ran around on me. Didn't bring the money home to feed his kids and my goal was to start writing professionally. My dreams all fell apart before I could get anywhere. But this site helped me escape my marriage lows. No matter how horrible he was to me I knew I could get on here and find something that I could relate with and something else that would help me l see a brother day coming. This site saved me from some very lonely nights. And I hope through my writing someone else saw a brighter day. 🙂
