Poetry In Motion

 

Sweet music flowing

Like wine

through the perils

of the mighty treble,

drifting below

the somber clef.

 

You Dance along

as a wingless octave,

strumming strings,

and Plucking  cords,

as the winds,

gently blowing

each delicate note.

 

You sway

to the mood,

and stomp your feet,

with each beat of the drum

that perks your senses,

until the last clash

of percussion

leaves you breathless

and waiting for more.
