Finest MomentA Poem by RalphyQuestioning the heart
Finest Moments
Life’s finest moments
Stem across time,
for
not just one
will jubilate
the fibers
linking you
with me.
For only if,
it was true,
then,
the chase,
around the meadow,
through cornrows of
flowers
would not
attempt to hide
that sparkle
reflecting in
your eyes.
For that
joyous thunder
rippling through
your lungs
would not
tickling me
from head to
toe.
For that
silky touch,
would not
captivate
my heart
and soul
forever,
in the pond
we wade
to cool
the passion…
so it cannot
be true.
