Breaking Free

A Poem by Ralphy
"

The magic of understanding time

"

Breaking Free

Millions of years ago
I was just a genome of
the universe. That intricate
part specifying my place in time,
birth, death, when, where and how
Who will be my victims?
How many people will I touch?

Protecting the code
would always be the priority,
and encryption
of unprecedented level,
so as to continue the cycle

Then the magic appears,
what makes us compassionate
hungry for acceptance
togetherness,
a well balance diet of romance,
stimulation and imagination

All of this is a part of that map
the puzzlement of time,
the complexity
of breaking free ,
from the repetitious bond
that keeps us locked,
trapped in a world,
deep beneath
the soil of the earth

Chiseling away
at the mortar,
over time, loosens the stones,
releasing the stagnate air…
Unlocked
is a glimmer of light
an alternate new path
a journey for all to travel,
experience the wealth,
passion
hunger
love
prosperity
for millenniums,
instead of years.
What could possibly be next?

Dear Ralphy,

I first want to say that the text is so appealing, the quality of beauty to match the significance
of the poem- which is so interesting to think of oneself through all millenium to be such a
detrimental being in this universe, and all who one comes across as "victims"- yes, if touched
by an extraordinary soul- the sort of "good pain" that comes when meeting someone who can make such impact on the soul of the self.It is a fantastic notion to realize every soul is a genome of the universe, for millions of years before "becoming", as if "this place" was waiting for each one of us.
I admire the "diet of romance" (I could live on that alone)
and for all of these rarities to live on for milleniums, instead of just years,
as time itself is a puzzle, but ever moving, never stagnant, always changing.
What an illustrious, luminous poem you have written under either the sun or celestial moon.
Thank you for sharing your beauty.

looses the stones -- loosens the stones

Cool clipart.

Anyway, this is a poem that makes the reader have to think - about the past, present and what the future will bring.
