You know them if you see them

 

The Appeal of Some

 

There are those people

in the world that can brighten

the most dismal corners

of your heart,

where light might

have never shone before…

yes, this part of the heart

carries the most blessed

of feelings, compassion

and warmth,

as a quiet thumping pounds

through like silent burps in the night.

 

These people whisper

to you in words that shimmer

 in your soul,

driving the electricity

throughout your body,

as the liquid cools your surface,

your fingers and toes

tingle like sleeping fingers

caught in a frenzy of quiver…

 

They take you by the very hand

leading to the well of souls,

you drink, and the sudden burst

of energy ignites a smile

so radiant with flowing colors,

giving a freshness that emits rays

of light, touching everyone  

that passes within the seal

that bonds the world

to the essence of you

yes I haved met a couple of those,, and they are very rare
gems might I add,, I think everyone has the potiential to be
that person to someone else, but sometimes gets self
absorbed,, and that prevents them to sparkle someone elses life..
This was a wonderful piece,,
