Just beat the drums and let the world know  

The most important things that set your life aglow

To gaze upon tranquility will paint an exhilarating scene

Moments in time will captivate beauty of that which is serene

 

Beauty so rare it captures the heart

 

A touch

A kiss

A hug

Lub-Dub thump, thump

 

Warmth that pushes through these veins

Shows love sculptured in the night rains

A squeeze

A whisper

I love you

A beckoning call that surrounds your amenity

Overcome with a blissful taste of serenity

I will give to you my heart to beat as one

I will give to you my soul to ignite a living sun

 

Again, there is only one way to show how sensitive I become

Start over with the passions I possess, is always a good rule of thumb

 

I beat the drum to echo my thoughts as they flow to my fingertips

A ravishing kiss so intense it tingles when pressing the cushions of your lips

Obsession has over taken my articulating senses

This loss of control has stripped away all of my necessary defenses

 

A moment in time

 

A fresh rose shows you my feelings are true

A petal glistening from the morning dew

A fragrance released by the gentle breeze

A pond in thaw after a long winter freeze

Sounds so peaceful

Drip drip drip

 

A wonder of nature

 

Twilight lights flutters across a galaxy of stars

A strumming sound synchronized from these wooden guitars

Dancing in a misty rain suddenly reminds me what I should do

Beat the drums and let the world know, I love you
