Nodding

Nodding

A Poem by Poe Redd
"

short one for music lovers

"

It's like... anticipation

for the creation of life inside

to hide behind, the sudden jump

for unbidden joy comes without

thinking but the joy is there

as soon as the music starts.

Well it almost hurts to want

to hear it, feel it burst clear

through my ears touching

nothing that doesn't feel,

kill all going-ons to nod

once and forever with the song.

Music had great power over us. Can make us cry or be happy. I like the way you expressed your thoughts in the poem.
"Well it almost hurts to want
to hear it, feel it burst clear
through my ears touching
nothing that doesn't feel,"
Thank you for the excellent poem.

nodders, head-bangers, foot-tappers... all of them because:
"(...) the joy is there as soon as the music starts"

so true! music is power indeed, and more than joy can enter our hearts.

great poems, I like the rhymes very much, and the effect of the first line.
thanks for sharing! =)
