The Child in meA Poem by Balkaran Singh SidhuSimplest of tones...clarity in speech
I had a child in me
filled with so much breath which I lost as i grew up so did I lost his greath. I loved the child in me so innocent and sweet The mischief in his eyes the blush upon his cheek. And when I lost him I thought the world spoilt me But only later did i realised that i was the one,my own enemy. With his purity and truth the life was devoid of worldly fear My life was so brilliant every path seemed so clear. I missed his innocence his passion his desire embraced the hate gave birth to Ice and fire. Now I set out myself to resurge the Kid that I lost I need the purity in his spirit I must rediscover him at any cost Think we all have one that we shouldn't let die with the wings of the child in us we should let ourselves fly. © 2012 Balkaran Singh Sidhu |
