MY NAME IS TRUTH

MY NAME IS TRUTH

A Poem by Jason Baptiste

I' am unknown from the lips of liars
Many eyes doesn't know my face
Ears refuses to listen my revelations
An enemy am i of deception

With silence torture and death
Trying to stop my voice my words
Irrevocably revealed
Beyond imagined horizons have heard

In songs i'am sung
Bringing awareness of rights and wrongs
I speak louder with my hands
Shining clarity that understand

My name is truth
I can make you realize
My name is truth
But i ve been hidden by lies

The level of intrigue in this piece is huge. Mysterious layers that need to be peeled back. That opening line is killer. Truth and guilt seem to go hand in hand. Sooner or later the curtain comes down. I'm digging this all day. Nice work.
