LOSS CONNECTION

LOSS CONNECTION

A Story by Jason Baptiste

Tremendous tremors shook his sorrowful heart,
a tsunami of tears crashed into both eyes, flooding a face that pioneered unhappiness,
amputating smiles from his lips.
Toppled to the floors of his mattress, where currents strongly sucked the joys away,
into debris watered graves.
His voice lecturing moaning cries, hands hugging discomforting pillows,
here he laid, accompanied with disturbance.
Momentarily disconnected from a world of friends, only to be awakened by reality,
from the nightmares of loneliness.
