Phoenix In The Blaze

Phoenix In The Blaze

A Poem by Solynara
"

This poem is dedicated to the true revolution which took place in my country. A revolution Which was stolen by people who couldn't care less about those who gave up their lives to keep it ongoing

"
A Vigorous Phoenix, chained, longing to be free

Bleeding, Screaming, "How can't you see my pain? Why can't you let me be?"

"Why are you blind to my agony? Why don't you break the cage?"

"Very well, then, leave me, but beware...."

"For one day, so soon, you shall see my rage!!"

Soon the phoenix made a scream, a roar to rebel

The binding chains shattered, and she broke from her shell

but what the heck is the use of freedom if the phoenix was...

so foolish and stupid enough to fly into hell!!

The Phoenix dashes, and against the walls of fire crashes

The stupid phoenix is set ablaze and turns into ashes

but, oh, my bad, i forgot what a phoenix was

for a few moments later she was reborn from the ashes

and again it soars and again it dashes

Now i can't help but wonder my -so called- country

what did you release into the blaze??

was it a mighty phoenix like mine that was released

or was it a mere bird from the graze??
