For My Dearest One

For My Dearest One

A Poem by Dalton Wagoner

Your beauty is beyond compare
I'm sorry if I start to stare
Your skin feels oh so good to me
The sight of you just brings me glee
Your smell is too good to resist
When absent, you are always missed
You cloud my brain with thoughts of you
If you weren't here I would be blue
It's cute how you squirm when you laugh
I am your sheep and you're my staff
I love you with your curves and all
And when you leave I always bawl
Fate works hard to separate us
You're always with me, that's a plus
I can't wait to see you again
Because I cannot stand this pain
And even if I have to run
You'll always be my dearest one

I really love this write up. Artistically written and graciously flowing. Nice one.

Aww thanks haha
Finally, one of your poems that is actually pretty good. You should really stick this kind of poetry, though it certainly needs some improvement.

Maybe try your pen at some free-verse? Perhaps make it dark it some manner.
