MURDERS THOUGHTS

MURDERS THOUGHTS

A Poem by Bear

Voices and memories are storms in my mind
And lightning flashed faces have driven me blind
Rage and hysteria in the eyes that look back at me
Could I really be the monster they think I be
Even a name I might call my own is gone from here
Could I have lost everything I ever was but my fear
It seems to be my one and only remaining friend
For fear is all I have left of myself to defend
Blood on my hands and tears on my face
Is this proof enough that I live in disgrace
They laugh at all I ever held true and dear
How will they understand unless I teach them fear
To whom shall I reach with my left hand of Satan
That my right hand of God hasn't already taken
I shall take the fear I shall relieve the others pain
So they will never have to feel like that ever again

I like it, the feeling of the writing is that of a justified monster. There are often many villains that exist within literature and many times people believe them to be mindless psychopaths that only partake in cruel and evil deeds because they possess inherent evil. This poem explores the deeper meanings.
