When you werent there..

When you werent there..

A Story by Jennifer Ellen

I have lost the one I love,

Ripped away from me,

How could you leave this little girl,

Left out in the cold?

Her heart is only full of pain,

For that's all she ever knew,

She feels alone,

Like no one is there to help her,

No where to go,

She falls and can't get up,

Her limps will not move,

Her chest feels heavy,

She has nothing to prove,

The pain is suffocating her,

As she tries to scream,

No sound comes out,

But only one thought is in her mind,

God help,

Her breathing because easier

As she screams,

God help me,

I am so lost,

I am so broken,

I can't get up,

You weren't there when I needed you,

So help me now,

She slow became able to get up,

she sits there looking up,

Why did you not answer my calls,

When I begged for so long?

I was hurt,

I was broken,

I needed you,

But you werent there,

She began to cry,

Then She felt a whisper in her heart,

"Ah, my child, because I knew I had given you enough strength to get threw it. You just had to find it. I gave you a little push here and there to help. And I was always there, to make sure that something you couldn't handle never came at you."

About
I am a beautifully broken poet. I wonder why the world has so much hate in it. I hear my heart beat loud as I look at what’s to come in my life. I see the words from my heart flow out and ont.. more..
