Express Yourself

Unleashing our art,

Into an unknown world.

Spilling the emotions and tragedies,

That bleeds from our very souls.

 

We express our own reality,

And sway to the music.

Letting our pens and our hearts,

Do all the speaking for us.

 

Fast and furious,

The rage inside ourselves.

Screaming from the insanity,

And chaos locked inside our minds.

 

Painting our wildest dreams,

Choose a color of your own beauty.

The fantasies and enchantments,

Breaking through reality's door.

 

We need to refuse to stay silent

And bring forth whatever demon,

That rattles and claws in his cage

And set him free with our own strength.

 

Don't be afraid, my dear poet

To speak your own mind.

Let your words spill out to the world

Express yourself.
