Scattered Daisy

Scattered Daisy

A Poem by Harley
"

"Unharmed daisy will suffer my abuse."

"
I picked a daisy in your name today.

Twirled it between my fingers as the sky melted into gray.
Those same fingers you held so gently.
Now feel useless, lost, and empty.

I've decided to put them to use.

This unharmed daisy will suffer my abuse.
Between those fingers so delicate and sweet.
I grip a petal, not missing a beat.
Slight tug, and then I stop.
A single petal, he loves me not.

And then once more my treachery.
This daisy once whole, now seems so weak.
The final petal and then I see.
This stupid daisy, says he loves me.
But flowers know nothing of the heart.
Naive creature, like me in the start.

Scattered petals and a broken stem.
Didn't help my heart to mend.

Oh!I like this..
One suggestion you should bring all of the poem beneath the picture,i think that would give a better presentation, cause both the words and the picture are so lovely. They need the due attention...:) but then that is up to you.
I like how gentle and honest is the poem. The flower could be a metaphor for your heart here, whose petals perhaps have been gently tugged off..
beautiful.

This was.. beautiful! I love it :) Really, I've always wondered about why people pick pedals to determine the love of another. I mean if you think a flower knows more than you, then your obviously lost, and we all know that someone can't go into love while their lost, they have to go into love when they know where they're going, when they're whole and ready.
Beautiful and wonderful write :)
It really touched my heart how thought provoking this is :)
I loved it :)
