Living infinitely

Living infinitely

A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

Most of the time,
I wander,
through streets,
and fractions of time.
Never knowing the direction i should be in.
But every now and then,
I have glimpses of infinity,
Life is transparent,
and I can see the end game.
These moments give my life significance. ,
They are few and fleeting,
and consumed by life's chaos,
But in these instances,
I see life through God's eyes.
All the tragedies,
and heart warming revelations,
come togehter,
and in the end there is synchronicity.
People are portals,
each vessel emitting something unique and strange.
the only way to acquire knowlege of them,
Is to interact and search their souls.

life has to be about interaction with others...we can't take "things" with us in the end...when we go into infinity...but mingling with other souls, we can take that.
i love how you saw the end of infinity in this...what an excellent paradox to use.

makes me believe that we live on in the hearts and minds of those we touch and sire. Let it be a moment of light that leads us to care for others.

Thank you for reading.
So very, very wise and true! This is awesome love...humanity has forgotten the soul and focuses on ego, sadly...to reach out and learn and understand the layers of this life/existence in this realm is rare and so needed...

your welcome :) it is also a piece of writing that u could turn into a discussion
It's all about 'frames of reference'. Morality and physics share that trait despite being polar opposites in almost every other way. I like it a lot that your poem made me think with two different parts of my brain. Well done.

thank you for writing ; )
Yes. I like this poem. Most of the time we do just 'wander' through life. But it is good to stop for a moment and 'see life through God's eyes'. I love the line, 'People are portals,' Good write.
