A Poem by Aquatic Chocolate

He watches the glacial slope of her body

Melting into bubbles, continents

Drift, the shell of her neck,

Curved prow of hips, sink and

Lull to the rise and fall

Of elemental words:

'Lundi, Fastnet, Cromarty, Viking,

North veering north-east, three or less,

Rising, rising more slowly...

Whilst far away gulls cling

The frozen promontories

To unyielding claws;

Tonight's outlook shall be

Mostly fine,

With occasional

Outbreaks of honesty.
