I let her write something for you guys....

I may not be the important on, the one at the front

But can I have permission to speak, for I have done wrong

I'm learning to forgive now, seeing how she is

She's trying to be there for everyone, she's trying to be strong

When all I do it ruin it, break down friendships she's built

I push those people away, I ice over her heart

And even though you don’t know of me, you've never spoken a word to me

I am here, and I have been since the start

Of her hardships, defending everything she knows of herself

Things she may not know, that her mind refuses to see

She's only a kid at mind, but she's striving to be more

She only wishes one day, to finally be free

From all of the pain she's endured, and all things she knows to be true

Because lies have been spoken to her, torn her down low

And if only you'd recognize this, let her speak

See that she's faking it fast, and she won't let it show

But know she's strong, stronger than you can guess

She may not see it, but as I do decree

She can make it, I won't bother her with my idle hurt

This is a promise, from me, Ari.

I think I understand, although I don't know the history of what's been said from others before. So I won't say too much in case I am wrong, but every voice has a right to be heard. Those who judge on who's saying it aren't hearing what's been said, so probably aren't the friends you thought them to be.
That said, very evocative piece with a strong voice to it. Nice job Ari.
