Beauty and Brains

Beauty and Brains

A Poem by Ben Barton

The world tried to tell me
That I had to choose
Between being first page or third page news
"Beauty or brains," they said
"It's your call"
"F**k it," I said,
"I'l take it all"

Very relatable and creates a foil between the pressure of having to choose and not giving a Damn. The ending gives a good chuckle.'Said' does get a bit repetitive but it adds to the parallelism,so this is gold.

Clever. I like this one. So short & sweet.

Thanks Kirtsy!
This one is my favorite. The website says I have to enter at least 25 characters so that's what I'm doing.

Haha, I'm not a fan of the minimum character count. Thanks for the review!
