Belief

You are here

Because I believe you are.

You exist

Because I believe you do.

You are my fear,

You are my God,

You are my power,

My destiny’s lord.

But you only exist

As I believe you do.

Only almighty

For I believe you are.

 

I feel your presence

When my body has gone numb.

I taste your delight

When my heart has given up.

You are hope

If I believe there is any

You are a beginning

And my power to begin.

You are a fire

To guide what is new,

You are my belief,

Thus my belief is you.

Belief is powerful within itself. If a person has enough belief and faith in that belief than nothing else can invade their sense of being. This was a great read.
