Religions

The witches were the first
the first to be denied,
to be burned
after that, to be sacrificed,

Then it was the Christians turn
To be hunted down like cheap perfume
The eagerness to get them caught
and make them fight like rats against cats

Then the protestants and katholics denied
To have the same one
the same thing they strive,

After that the Jews would be blamed,
By the once that shouldn't be named
and everyone was pointing fingers
but no one was to be blamed

Now the moslims can't do any good
they are spit out,
for one other needs
to be the one, the black sheep

Still we live together,
Neighbour by neighbour,
family or friends

Just overcome those religions,
it doesn't make us enemies,
nothing like an angry serpent
Just believe in what you must
and let us all adjust!

Such truth in this poem. I happen to agree; why can't we all just coexist? Well done.

first...a few grammar mistakes here and there!

second...you attacked quite a powerful topic here..Religion and that also the consequences it came up to when two people from different religious sects fall in love or just simply co-existing together without racist comments...a much debatable concept! and you manipulated it pretty well!
i like the way you take up strong concepts and transform them into poems!!

Your words are very true. Life is be simple if people kept religion private. I was lucky and spend close to 5 years in the middle east. The Arab world is safe and kind. I never had a problem. I respected the Muslim religion. Here in the USA. Must be careful. A lot of power and money in Christianity. They control most of the USA. We need to put religion aside and have concern for sickness and hunger. Religion had killed too many already. A excellent poem.

Very nice and very confronting. Aren't we all to blame, to a bigger or lesser extent?

This is very strong. The carelessness we have, Just because we share different views does not make us enemies.

Wonderful ^^
