Fractured Fairytales

Fractured Fairytales

A Poem by WynterPhoenix

She’s broken,

Inside a soulless chamber.

Searching for bliss

In a world unknown.

Creeping Tempter.

Scurrying through darkness.

Lingering in pain.

Water-logged with panic.

She’s now lead astray.

Fall into the rabbit hole,

Wonderland is not

Her refinement.

Abandoned house,

Drenched in gloom.

Curious sleeper,

Woken too soon.

Obscured in a palace,

Cowardly, inept.

Beastly presence,

Devouring heart.

A distorted sonata

Isn’t fit for a child.
