Ruin Me

Ruin Me

A Poem by Serenity Faith
"

One day girl, there'll be a guy who ruins your lipstick, not your mascara.

"
Please take this broken heart of mine
Down from it's dusty shelf
And with it take all the cries
The callings out for help

Im sorry that I'm no good
I do not deal well with hurt
Its simply just I've come to terms
That love is a foreign word

Dont be so ridiculous
As to underestimate my ache
This me with a happy smile
Is surely soon to fade

He smiles ever so nicely
A blush upon my cheek
Girl I will ruin you
Be wary in your dreams

Im scared now of sleeping
But it seems I've met defeat
As I close my eyes so slowly
Drifting into the deep

And there you are boy
Waiting there for me
Just like I knew you would
Prepared for the ruining

Im called over and pulled close
Makeup running down my face
Ah now thats no good
Here now, as I ruin this

And his lips touch mine
And he tangles my hair
And he tells me of love
And he ruins my fear

Yes, he ruins me
Taking away my guard
So I can love again,
Ruins me, by fixing my heart.

Took a different turn then I expected it to. That's good, I like to be kept guessing.

Smiled and smiled more... to see such a beautiful glimpse of love... it truly can bring summer to the soul... May it be, dear poet... may any pain you've suffered truly be washed away so you can love and be loved always and ever.
