SunsetA Story by Death Stalker
"Are you ready to go see your birth mother?" My adoptive mother smiled assuring to me.
"I've been waiting all day." Said I, being 17 and is ready to visit my birth mother that gave me up when I was a mere baby. Now I'm getting aboard the plane to fly to Japan to visit my birth mother.
"Alright, y'all don't forget to come back now you hear?" She puts on an southern American accent and laughs. I smiled, adoptive mother have ways with the American and their accent. "I'm glad you're deciding to go back to our country. Such a shame I can't go with you."
I smiled and thanks my adoptive mother. I turned around and hear her speaking in Japanese saying "I love you child."
I got aboard and sit next to the window facing one of the wings. After a while of people packing in, I noticed a very odd couples. Walking slowly in the line. I can see them, one of them are a man wearing a tuxedo. The other is very odd, a woman dressed in Arabic clothing, but there's only one problem, her face has hair on her chin and lips, only recent shaved but it's already started to grow back.
And they're rather fatter than usual, especially at the back area.
Fear and panic attacks me as I realized what they were. I got up quickly and the Arabic woman (or rather man) grabs me and said "Say anything or try to escape, I'll blow this place up. Stay and I'll blow up this plane only. Your choice." With that he pushes me back to the seat.
I know my adoptive mother is still staying here, watching the airplane I'm in. I know those men meant business. So for her safety I stayed.
Tears crawl down my cheek, I'll never going to see my birth mother after all. Nor will I come back here.
My headaches resides when the airplane finished climbing up the air.
An hour later, we're over water. I looked back at those 2 terrorist, they're rather antsy. I can detect nervousness rolling by one of their eyes. They start whispering, I look up at the ceiling of the airplane and mentally thanks myself for learning to read lips, so I can understand what they're saying.
"Why the hell is it not working?" The woman-dressed man growls.
"Don't ask me, it must be a misfire or something, we'll try again on the ne-" The other man was interrupt by a blast of a hot air and pressure. For some reason the explosion was big enough to take a big gap out of the back of the airplane. But it wasn't enough to kill me. The pilot door opens and the pilot was picked up by the air and dragged outside into the sky.
I took this as an opportunity to climb to the pilot's cockpit. I mentally thanks myself for exercising everyday because it's an easy task while everyone else, within taking their seatbelt off, are being picked up one by one and tossed outside of the airplane. I got in and closed the door.
I wept for 10 minutes before the door gotten violently ripped out, dragging me with it. The air pressure up here didn't kill me. I fell for a long time, did not scream. I looked at the horizon and look at the sunset. It rolls down and down till it's top tip goes down the ocean. As soon as it goes down, I went head first into the water.
Note: The airplane have 1000 passengers on board, only 990 bodies has been found. This boy was the 10 people that haven't been found in the vast abyss of the ocean.
