Noble Intentions

Noble Intentions

A Poem by Black_Oxygen

            Noble Intentions

The road that leads to your heart is clear

To hold onto and maintain your attention

An existence without you is a major fear

Every motive will have a noble intention

Plans are laid-out with perfect directions
No hidden agenda or lines to read between
Each level adds new concerns and affections
It is the blueprint to build a throne for a Queen

I relish in your watchful eye and your scrutiny
All efforts must deserve honorable mentions
I deplore any notion of desertion or mutiny
Only loving deeds and noble intentions

Just look and you will see what I mean
The force that gives my actions the nudge
Behold what to all others will remain unseen
Only you are assigned to be my jury and judge

Your pleasure will forever be the ultimate goal

Your success is how each purpose will begin

Waterfalls of joy will cascade into your soul
Marching to the beat: “she wins...we win”

The blessing of your love is what I yearn
You inspire and propel all my inventions
For the gem that you are, I give in return
A life full of respect and noble intentions
