The Beginning of the End

The Beginning of the End

A Poem by Nexus
"

a father tells his young son of the rapture.

"
The rapture comes, oh son of mine
the holy lands collide
the bells all ring, the children sing
god, please be on our side.

the angels are in whisper
the world is stuck in prayer
he walks among us, dressed in black
the sunset in his hair

he'll call his liege, oh son of mine
he'll call them all to war
the bells will stop, the gates will open
and we'll know death nevermore.
