Tara Love

Tara Love

A Poem by Blake Q Hatfield

Sunshine on a rainy day
Silver lining in the clouds
And just the all around sense of happiness
I confess I am in love with you

When I close my eyes at night
I never ever feel inclined to pray
Only to say thanks and feel the grace
Of having you in my life
I could have never asked for anything better than this

Daisies and clovers, strawberry fields
The mountains peaks and river streams
Nature has so many beautiful things
But none can compare to the love I see in your eyes
A smile, a wink, a look that makes the world seem alright
Nothing could be better than this

I don't ever need to bargain with the winds of fate
I've already won because lady luck has smiled me
And she gave me you
Of all the things I've ever won
Your heart will always be the greatest of them all
Nothing could be better

My sunshine, my love
Words cannot say what I really feel
I could paint a picture
But it would pale in comparison to you
Nothing in this world or in the stars beyond
Could ever be better than a moment with you
My love, nothing is better than this
Love, I feel when I look in your eyes

I had this tune in my head, kinda a cross between the Blake Babies and Velocity Girl. Something popped into my head and this is what I wrote.

Sweet romance she must be real. This was a lovely read especially after reading your lonely poem. The opposite of lonely as love shines on you. You have me once again convinced of the wonder of love. Beautiful...
