Broken

Broken

A Poem by Erika Jones

I feel broken,

on the inside and out,

more like someone has picked me up off the ground,

and dropped me from the highest pillar I could be on.

I feel broken,

on the inside and out,

like someone has taken a chisel to my fragile heart,

like it was meant to be hurt.

I feel broken,

on the inside and out,

like someone took the shotgun,

and blew a hole where my heart should be.

I feel broken,

on the inside and out,

because no one cares about this broken soul,

because I'm nothing but a waste of time.

I feel broken,

on the inside and out,

most likely because no one wants me anymore,

because I was calling for help a little too late.

I have a poem called broken, anyway good poem, but i think the repitition made it a little uninteresting, it might help to change up a bit here and there, and it didnt rhyme, which is an ocd thing for me but it was still good

I liked this part, the imagery in this write is deep and powerful.
The write is sad and well expressed.
