Looking Out My Window

Looking Out My Window

A Poem by Blemish In The Stars
"

A revised version of the poem. I think it's better this way.

"

Cloudy Skies

Windy days

Wind won’t you please

Take me away

Rain pour down

Cleanse the earth

Wash my soul

Give me new birth

When the sky reflects

The way you feel

We know we need just a taste

We need something real

Looking out my window

Loneliness man it ain’t fun

When you sit around

Can’t be with no one

Can’t be with your loved ones

Your friends

Throwin’ a party that no one attends

Sit in the silence

Lie on your bed

Can’t get the lonely

Out of your heart, out of your head

Looking out my window

Tom Petty playin’ in the back

I think my life’s gone outta wack

Nothing seems normal

Nothing seems right

Always have to struggle

Always have to fight

At least one thing I know

Will always be true

Your enough for me, darling

Clare, my dearest, that one is you

Looking out my window

Blemish.
