He or Me

This is just something that every girl should know. And I know not all guys are like this. Sorry to all you good guys!

He looked,
Oh God I'm hooked.

He takes my hand,
I'm soaring, will I ever land?

He knows he's got me captured,
I'm raptured.

He knows he can get what he wants,
So his confident smile he flaunts.

A hand here, a hand there,
He goes farther than I'd ever dare.

Lips here, a kiss there,
He touches without a care.

I am unsure, But what can I do?
Can't he take a cue?

Space is what I want, what I need,
This warning he doesn't heed.

I push him away,
For this he says I'll pay.

I'm too young for this,
He says I won't be missed.

A tear hit my collar of lace,
All I wanted was space.

But now he's gone,
I was nothing but a pawn.

Did he ever really care?
This just isn't fair.

I'm alone, and whole?
No wait, where's my soul?

I think he took it, now it's lost,
Is this really the cost?

But I was stronger,
I will last for longer.

I said no,
And even if I feel low.

I didn't break,
I'm proud for this he didn't take.

I smile,
I've been whole all the while.

Don't sell yourself short,
Let your feelings themselves sort.

He's not always worth it,
Don't give him a bit.

its a very good poem :) the only thing i would change is the way its spaced it would make it more effective when you read it. it has very strong emotions:)
