Eyes

Eyes

A Poem by Blue tailed kite

Why do you look into my eyes?

And when you do, what do you find?

Am I just another face

To be forgotten, without a trace?

Or do I home, something you care

Tell me now, if you dare.

The eyes can tell a lot of stories if you look at them properly. I like the poem. No wasted words and to the point. Last line was perfect ending to your poem.

Do you home?
I think this one could go a little further;
I'd like to see a bit more developement.
great subject!

I think I have thought this same concept many times when meeting new people and wondering what will happen down the road.
I really like the simplicity of this poem and how much deep feeling that such a poem carries.
Very much enjoyed!

This is really pretty, and I like how it has that underlying meaning:)
