Stay

For some reason I’m still hoping 

 for you to come home to me 

 for my heart to keep on beating 

 Oh I hope that you will see 

 my heart crying and bleeding 

 flooding my mind so slowly 

 with thoughts so depressing 

 and they’re killing me softly 

 like the clouds slowly fading 

I hope that you will say 

 the word that you will stay 

 stay, and never go away 

 because I will always stay 

 to you since you’re my prayer 

 for us to be so gay 

 with dreams that meant to say 

 “Forever”, as I pray 

 all these, I hope, someday.
