LicheleA Poem by B.CThe last of the love genre
Lichele
I've had other girls but its just not the same I talk about you so much that they complain Having a hard time adjusting to not saying your name You were the oxygen my heart was the flame Without you I feel cold and alone Wrapped up in blankets but still cold as stone I had a dream about how you were made God is the architect and it took him an age He took a handful of stars and put them in your eyes Wish I could dim the sun and the moon and just them shine So I could tell everyone those stars are mine You are the only girl who doesn't change in my dreams Not even my dreams can make you more beautiful than you seem I really hate clichés but you are my destiny First time I saw you I knew we were destined to be You are everything in this world that I am scared to lose You over my own life if I had to choose Roses are scared to bloom when they are around you Your smile causes ocean storms to calm I believe heaven exists in your arms Bongani Armstrong Mhlangu © 2012 B.C |
