Letting Go

Letting Go

A Poem by Bohrium Guy
"

When the wait just doesn't appeal...

"

That one special romance that sticks in mind,

That person left your heart sore tied in a bind.

The only true romance you felt since the break,

Wishing to turn back the clock for a retake.

It's been to long and the memories have faded,

You know in your heart revitalization is jaded.

Still you linger with illusions painting pictures,

What if a change could happen to the fixtures?

Mind wonders and wishes knowing its a dream,

Its done and over and the love lost its deep gleam.

Time to let it go and face the hardest of truth,

Love was great and the memories of our youth.

Have a good life and remember our days past,

Would have been grand if our love held steadfast.

Goodbye my dear I am done with my long wait,

I am engaged to someone I now can relate.

The perfect rule of life "to move on" at last after a long wait. That was the great part of this poem. Whenever I read anything, I actually relate myself to it and imagine.

I believe in good endings to make.
