Unrewarded Want. (Dedicated to Chika Onuigbo).

Unrewarded Want. (Dedicated to Chika Onuigbo).

A Poem by Bonaventure Onuabuchi
"

A special dedication to Chika Onuigbo, just #lines to express my unvoiced desire for your love.

"
Here lies a sunken heart so unflappable,
Who in bleaky quest to unearth a queen's bosom:
Has made a puppet of his dream.
He's a dream of unsullied trial and its end that comes unstuck.
His meagre victory in a tattered bag, is a rotten treasure whose weighting reversed order-
For beside the uncrownded queen of glamour;
She whose snazzy wear is the demise of every beauty-
And from sacred delineation, the heart a perfect temple-
And eyes that fund the light of the stars,
-This heart so sullen yawns for a little light.

(C). Bonaventure 2015.
Special dedication to Chika Onuigbo.

Well written! I liked how it flowed, also how it touched upon a unfathomable connection of the writer and the subject!
