We can be lonely together.

We can be lonely together.

A Poem by Bonnie Masters
"

For the prompt silence, or lack of it. Hope you like it, as always, read rate and review!

"
The lonely are my truest friend
they treat me with respect-
and understand the necessary
use of my effect.

I skirt around the edges
of conversations, it's true
I'm more a nuisance now
When I barge in on her and you.

I can reveal more thoughts than even words
and hide more secrets safe
Within my presence you shall find
a cage or an escape.

I will meet the world one day
at differing times of strife-
too soon to some, impatient to few
for the silence that intrudes on life.

Oh, I like this! It flowed nicely and seemed like a mini mystery.

A very well written and thoughtful poem. There were no obvious errors and the poem overall was very well done.
