Baby Shoe

Baby Shoe

A Poem by Boogabaah

One baby shoe
on the sidewalk
in the bushes
in the street.

Just one.

Too small for any human
that could walk.

Probably why the shoe is there
that baby couldn't talk!

I can't decide whether this is Lear, Silverstein, a mixture of both, or perhaps Roddy Doyle were he to write poetry.....(It does remind me of Ernest Hemingway's six-word story, though)....whatever the case, this is funny, and it flows so well. I quite enjoyed it. Well done!
