I'm not mad

I'm not sad

But I am glad

Glad that I can be your friend

Cause you are so nice

And smart

And you listen so well

So that is why I understand

I understand that you don't feel the same way

Even though I have strong feelings for you

I still have you as a friend

And that makes me so very happy

Because I truly love you as a friend

I do wish for more

But that is not for me to decide
