Love Unhindered

Once again, another poem I wrote in school. Hope you enjoy, i do not own the picture.

 

 

Years it took for me to trust you

Days for me to say yes

I was hopeless

More then alone

Yet somehow you hung on

More then I ever knew

You waited for me

Still, I don't know why

I was nothing

Nothing special

Nothing new

Not worth it

And yet you loved me

As I will always love you

By the picture, you know who I am. I think this is one of the best poems I have ever read. Short, but expressing a large pool emotion beyond your years. Just simple awesome.

Short, sweet, simple and beautiful (I had to break the s's there). I love how there was almost to parts to this poem, one about them not trusting and the other about them being nothing special. Nice poem.

Very simple, very sweet. I, too, get a lot of my writing done when I'm supposed to be doing something else like working or cleaning my house. Those stolen moments are the most delicious!! Keep writing!!
