Daydreams

Dreams of the future 

and dreams from the past 

merge together 

as they cross paths 

in this beautiful place

where blue water flows 

and waterfalls roar

among lush green growth and giant dwelling rocks

While off in the distance 

is a glorious mountain 

covered in snow

Oh the fun we had in this gorgeous place

I can only imagine 

us laying upon the rocks 

basking in the glow of the sun 

exhausted and amazed 

in love with each other

and in awe of what we have found.

Ohh how i loved your painting..how you showed me whats on your mind

Beautiful landscapes and emotions stream from the wonder of love throughout this poem and into my soul.

Surreal, a gorgeous view of majestic falls, hills and valleys of green, snow covered tips and field of lilies (well at least how I picture it). I once lived in a place such as this, a place called Ruidoso. It was just as you describe here, at least in its physical form.

I enjoyed this poem greatly and feel it deserves a chance to win in a contest, the perfect contest, I feel is Poetic Infusion Society's - Love.
