I am Man

Men, just like women are emotional beings.

taught to love others
but not myself
when i fall
i get slapped with disrespect
when i cry
they mock me for being weak
when i love
i’m called a weakling
and a softie
i am soul and i am spirit
but most importantly;
i am man.
i have feelings:
ones i won’t be afraid to show
i will live
till i leave my footprints in the sands of time
for i am a soul: before i am a man
i will do it all my way
because
man is who i am when i love.
