Forever Friends

Forever Friends

A Poem by Brenden Moran

Is it one, two or three?

Just you wait and see

It’s not one month, or two or three

It is for you and me

For us to go see

How long we last

No matter what the past

We stick together all the way

And no matter what we say

You’re my brother and sister

On this journey of a twister

Don’t worry about my sincerity

I will say this with utmost clarity

I shall never lie to you

And I value however many or few

Who stick around to see

All there is about me

So...for the one, two, or three

I hope you all see

All you need to see

Author's Note

Brenden Moran
I chose simplicity, in almost a childish way, to innocently and aptly describe the base desire of friendship we can all relate to.

That was sweet. I enjoyed that. It made sense
