Little Lullaby

Little Lullaby

A Poem by Bri
"

Feel free to leave a suggestion for the title..the title is definitely the hardest part for me

"

Our little world rises

and wakes up once more

Sun in the horizon

Night's gone now for sure.

Blinking and yawning

casting light down below

the sun and the moon

are waving hello.

The moon waves goodbye

to the sun as they pass

wiping away

its night-long impact

And the sun takes over

Our world in its hand

As nighttime rolls in

The sun and moon dance.

Your poem has great form and flow - a lovely lullaby! I especially like the personification of the sun and moon dancing - very nice! Good write!

Thank you :)
I love seeing the sun and moon in the sky at the same time...there's something so otherworldly and surreal about the sight which I think this poem captures masterfully.

Favorite line: Our world in its hand. So pretty!

Thank you :) I look forward to reading some of your writing
Just love this. It is so sweet. I actually love the title, I feel it fits the piece very well. It comes off to me like a cute, sweet, children's nursery rhyme (no downgrade in that, I think it is quite special). I would read this to my kids. Great job!
