Unrequited Love

Unrequited Love

A Poem by Brianna Montrope

We've all been there.

Hoplessly falling in love
Over and over again
Knowing I'll never be yours
Secretly loving the pain
Hoping you'll come to your senses
And fall in love with me too
But you don't acknowledge my existence
And I keep on loving you
Unrequited love
What can I say
Our stars are crossed
This isn't our fate
But I can keep dreaming, wanting and loving
Knowing you'll never be  mine
Wishing. hoping and praying
Until the end of time.
