The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Britebeth
"

Just a small depiction of my battle with borderline personality disorder.

"
Head above water,
gasping for air,
arms reaching blindly,
to find nothingness there.
Water churns in turmoil,
let the black chaos begin,
the clouds are getting closer,
as is the hopelessness within.
I'm just a dark eyed child,
trying to find my way,
but the waves are getting higher,
beckoning me to stay.
Tired, growing tired,
the voice in me has all but died,
stolen by these breathless moments,
all the panicked screams I've cried.
The fight has pulled me under,
as I slip below the waters break,
I suppose I'm just another lost soul,
swallowed in the storms wake.

Another great piece.
Sometimes it's better to loose it than to carry all the pains together. Tired. One gets tired ultimately.
Best Wishes. :))
