A Great Night

The stars lite up in the dark night sky

His scent traveled across the distant

It filled her spirit as she saw him standing before her

With a smile.

 

Her eyes filled with tears as happiness filled her heart

His eyes sparkled as she ran towards him with all her soul

She jumped into his arms and knew once they looked into each others eyes, she was finally home and safe.

 

He creased her head softly as he stared into her dark eyes

His eyes shined two different amazing colors

Blue as the sky, and green as the rainforest.

 

He held her close and hugged her tightly

Her scent of her skin opened his lungs and sent chills up his spine.

 

The night seemed gentle and perfect as he held her

She opened her heart to this man and she felt no regret in doing.

 

His heart beat along side hers as the night grew on

Flowers bloomed in the vast open fields of love in which they stood.

 

They stood beyond time itself and cherished each other

On this grand night their hearts fell and crashed into each other

And exposed true love out to the sea and beyond the wonders of earth itself.
