It's Love

It's Love

A Poem by Brooklyn

On the darkest of days, deep in my soul, my heart aches to be with my Lord

Everyone around me seems to fail me

But God is my constant, never-changing, always steady

I cannot, and will never ever understand the pureness of your love

Amazing

Incredible

I don’t have to hear you say, “I love you”

You show me your love

I see your love

I feel your love

For I am the bride of my savior Jesus Christ

You took me in when I was weak

You made me yours

Under your wing

If I were merely just a Christian, it wouldn’t be the same

For the relationship with my God, is what keeps me sane

Amazing

Incredible

I’m captured in the majesty of your love

Shown in your grace, in your mercy, in your blood

The nails in your hands, the thorns on your head

The cross you died on

That’s not a religion, it’s love
