Into Alleviation

Into Alleviation

A Poem by Asante.

Into your sky of mind
   with clouds in tow,
swimming through the valves
of pulsation to sing oxygen vows,
as I snatch your heart
to grab you by the breath,
to speak in love,
   the language of imagination;
silent weaver of two lives together.

You cry so I can raft
   your tears to safety,
you tie my hands to
   handicap what may be,
in position to soothe what stems to brew,
my urging you through to vibes of clarity,
cutting away vines,
   alleviating trees
beneath those hues of blue so deep below.

Dictionaries hold definitions, encyclopaedias give you a summation, your words here capture what can only be the definition of the dna of the heart, mind and soul. So many wonderful lines that I won't even waste your time choosing one that sticks out, as the whole piece sticks out as perfect and complete.
Kudos.

"the language of imagination"

This is a poetic ode to a muse! You create the realm, the ocean eyes, with these passionately projected images, word craftiness!

Not only the ocean is deep. So is this wonderful description of love. That first meeting, that first date, holding hands and eventually the heart of another. A brave step, a big responsibility. A good write

Truth, love is growth! Thank you for reading, Neal.
This is very sweet and loving. Love is resilient and patient, it shines here in your words. Bravely removing obstacles, overcoming the push and pull to move forward together. Loved it.
